Armand River

Armand River, a recently-top destination in the province, flows in the mountains of Iran’s central plateau and is a must-see in the province. The fast-moving waterway running through the eternal green land presents sightseeing opportunities for enthusiasts.

One of the greatest tourism potentials in the province, it has become a favorite place for vacationers since 2006, when it was developed as a great ecotourism part in the country.

Water sports fans will find it hard to leave the place; white water rafting is among fun things that almost all visitors try out. Adventurous or not, travelers will experience a great time in the bubbling waters.

Tourists travel on tours to enjoy boating and rafting. Camping is also a must-do here. Nothing like camping beside the river would ever drain your stress and give you a sense of revival. The unspoilt nature and fresh air make it out for a good journey.

The best visit times are in spring and summer; if you are a professional rafter, you will go for springtime when water level is high and there is more excitement. However, in summer, you can go enjoy rafting too; especially that some tours are held.

There is a massive campsite in the village of Armand, 1200 square meters, to cater for travelers. It offers beds to male and female tourists alike. If  you don’t like to camp in public, you can do it on your own in the riverside place.
