If you want to enjoy a nature trip with your family, one nice option is Baghlarbaghi in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan Province.

Built after the Islamic Revolution, the parkland is one of 3 major parks in the city, along with El Gölü and Bagh-e Golestan.

Featuring an artificial lake and green space laden with tall trees and colorful flowers, the popular resort attracts tourists during the year. Nonetheless, it is at its best in spring and summer with many gorgeous landscapes and cool weather. You can come across many scenes to take photos and record part of your joyful experience.

With an amusement park, bird garden, dolphinarium, and restaurant, the park welcomes local and foreign visitors.

Formerly a vast garden filled with fruit trees, especially apricots, Baghlarbaghi boasts indigenous plants everywhere you turn your head.

The amusement park, the largest in the city, offers entertaining facilities like the swaying ship Kasthiye Saba, horror cabin, and air bike riding.

The recently established dolphinarium is also fun. If you like aquatic life, be sure to visit. Hundreds of beautiful bird species, some rare, are exposed to view in the park. The 4-hectare zoo, too, is home to wild animals and reptiles.

The covered tables in the park are used by families who come to spend a couple of hours together in the park. It’s recommended to enjoy a picnic in the open space rather than trying the park’s single overcrowded restaurant of the park.
