LARES is a Uruguayan DMC specialized in small group and individual tailor made journeys and high end products focused on WINES, GASTRONOMY, NATURE and ACTIVE experiences. Since 2000 we have been sharing our passion and knowledge of Uruguay as a new destination, operating unforgettable itineraries throughout the country and designing tours that combine nature, culture, special activities and which promote the interaction between our clients and the local communities. We started our job in the rural areas of the country, promoting guest ranches, small inns, forts and charming hotels and so we soon discovered the wonders of very special and authentic products which were completely unknown by international travellers and, in many cases, also by Uruguayans. This has become our leitmotiv since then: promote Uruguay not only through the most traditional attractions but also through the things that make Uruguay really special: its nature, its people and the experiences that it has to offer. Our commitment is to create new products working together with the local communities so that they can benefit from tourism and develop along with it. Our tours and itineraries have been specially designed so that international visitors get to know, understand and enjoy our country by learning first – hand about our culture, customs and natural wonders.
